Legal
Cookie policy
Effective 1 January 2026. This policy describes browser storage used or potentially used by scenegardenscenefd.sbs.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which allows a browser to retain a preference without sending that value with every web request. First-party technologies are set by the website you visit; third-party technologies are provided by another service.
Some storage is essential to deliver a requested feature. Other storage can measure usage or remember optional settings. Where consent is legally required, non-essential technologies will remain disabled unless you choose to accept them.
2. Storage categories
| Category | Example or status | Purpose | Typical duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | scenegarden_cookie_choice in local storage | Remembers accept, reject or preferences selection so the banner does not reappear unnecessarily. | Until browser storage is cleared or the choice is replaced | Not required where strictly necessary |
| Analytics | Currently inactive | Would help us understand page visits, navigation and technical performance using aggregated reports. | Would be disclosed before activation | Required where applicable |
| Functional | Currently inactive | Could remember optional display or content preferences beyond what is essential. | Would be disclosed before activation | Required where applicable |
3. Your banner choice
“Accept All” records permission for optional categories if they are available. “Reject Non-Essential” records that only necessary storage may be used. “Preferences” records that you wish to retain essential operation without broadly accepting optional technologies. The current static version of this website does not activate analytics or functional cookies after acceptance, but the stored choice allows us to respect the selected state.
4. Third-party content
Pages may request externally hosted images. The provider may receive standard technical request data, including IP address and browser information, even when it does not set a cookie. Following an external link takes you to a separate website that controls its own cookies. Review the destination’s policy before accepting optional technologies there.
5. Browser opt-out and deletion
You can remove the stored preference through your browser settings. Look for controls labelled Privacy, Cookies, Site Data, Website Data or Local Storage. Most browsers allow you to view data for a specific domain, delete it, block future storage or clear all browsing data. Blocking all storage may cause the banner to return because the site cannot remember your selection.
You may also use private-browsing mode, configure the browser to delete site data when it closes, or install reputable privacy controls. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the web. We do not use this site for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Changing your choice
To reset your decision, delete site data for scenegardenscenefd.sbs and reload the page. The cookie banner will appear again, allowing a new choice. If we later introduce a materially different optional service, we may ask for consent again even where an earlier preference exists.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Questions about browser storage can be sent to [email protected]. Further information about personal data appears in our privacy policy.
