Terms of service
Effective 1 January 2026. These terms govern your use of scenegardenscenefd.sbs.
1. Acceptance and operator
By accessing this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. The website is operated by Scene Garden Media Ltd, company number 15820471, registered at 14 Lantern Yard, Bristol BS1 4QF, United Kingdom.
2. Editorial information only
Our guides provide general information about unusual occupations. They are not employment, legal, medical, financial, safety or training advice. Requirements differ by employer, jurisdiction and task, and they can change. You must verify qualifications, licences, pay, working conditions and safety obligations with competent employers and relevant authorities before making decisions.
Some featured work is dangerous. Nothing on the site is an instruction to handle venomous animals, enter water, conduct sensory exposure or perform another hazardous activity. Obtain recognised training, permission, insurance and supervision where applicable.
3. User obligations
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to damage, overload, probe or interfere with it. You must not introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the site in a way that impairs service, misrepresent our content, or use contact channels for spam, harassment or unlawful material. You are responsible for ensuring information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the site’s original text, design, branding, structure and graphics belong to Scene Garden Media Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view pages and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You may link to public pages provided the link is fair and does not suggest endorsement. Republishing substantial content, removing attribution or using our branding commercially requires prior written permission.
5. External services and links
The site may load images or link to third-party websites. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean we control, endorse or guarantee the external content. We are not responsible for third-party availability, security, accuracy or transactions.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or remove content without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, that every page will remain current, or that the site will be free from harmful components. You should use appropriate device and browser security.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that qualification, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from use of, or reliance on, this free informational website. Our total liability for other claims connected with the site is limited to £100 where permitted by law.
8. Indemnity
If you use the site for business purposes, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, claims and costs resulting from your unlawful use, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these terms.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has breached these terms, created security risk or misused our services. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, disputes and any terms intended to survive will continue after termination.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers may retain mandatory rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, please email [email protected] with a description of the dispute and requested resolution. Both parties should allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it.
11. General provisions
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms do not create rights for third parties. We may update the terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
